Maite Prince (she/her) is an illustrator from Rotterdam. She draws inspiration from people around her and tries to empower them as much as possible. The things happening around the world that keep her up at night also fuel her art. Her work is characterized by vibrant colors and a desire to create art that is both inviting and easy to relate to.

From a young age, she has been passionate about drawing, sketching wherever and whenever she can. 

She sketches and draws with fineliner and then makes the drawings digitally. She wants to pick up different old techniques again in the future.

She draws her inspiration primarily from the people of the city she holds dear to her heart. Maite also has a keen interest in West African and Japanese art, birds, and interior design. Much of her work features portraits, but she also loves to illustrate her favorite meals and the beauty of nature or her favorite place inside her home. Vibrant colors, strength, and positivity are central themes in her artwork.
